The Law firm was established by George Yiangou in 1981, providing services mainly to commercial Banks, Shipping companies, offshore companies and multinationals. The firm is continually expanding and currently has 15 qualified lawyers and 35 supporting staff. The firm has prime locations in Nicosia, Limassol (Cyprus) and a branch office in Athens (Greece), staffed by bilingual employees and fully qualified lawyers, who speak Greek, English, French, Italian, German, Arabic and Turkish.

Although the firm handles all aspects of litigation and legal consultancy, we specialize in the areas of International Tax Planning (Offshore Company Formation and Administration, Offshore Trusts, and Shipping), Debt Collection, and Personal Claims.

We operate the largest collection department in our area and represent several principal collection agencies, including Intrum Justitia, Dun & Bradstreet, Creditreform, and handle international claims for HSBC Bank worldwide as well as a number of medium and small agencies. We collect for major credit insurance companies such as COFACE, EULER HERMES Group, CESCE and MAPFRE of Spain. Our collection department accepts claims in Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Middle East and North Africa. We also have links with representatives worldwide.

Our International Companies department provides company registration, trust and tax planning services to several large international clients, public and local authorities, banks including the Cyprus Popular Bank and Universal Bank, accounting firms and substantial local and offshore entities.

Our firm represents several international clients and we have set up a network linked to professional law representatives worldwide in order to assist our client's throughout the globe. We are members of several associations including the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA), the Offshore Institute, International Advisory Group (IAG) , Center of International Legal Studies (CILS), League International for Creditors (LIC), the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA), Credit Services Association of UK (CSA) , the American Collectors Association (ACA) , and the International Association of Commercial Collectors (IACC).
