TURKEY
Our Turkish speaking collection managers make contact with debtors not only in the usual manner by mail/fax and telephone, but also make personal visits in Istanbul in order to exert pressure on the debtors and try and evaluate their financial status. Our branch office in Istanbul keeps us updated with the economic developments within Turkey and the market trends, which allows us to provide a more efficient service to our clients. Our local lawyer in Istanbul can provide professional legal assistance whenever amicable collection is not possible.
MIDDLE EAST , AND AFRICA
The increasing globalisation of finance and debt has created the need for international collection facilities worldwide. Our international clients now face collection problems not only in European countries which are relatively near to home, but further afield to the Middle East.
We have collection departments dedicated to the collection of claims in the Middle East which are staffed by professionals chosen for their wide-ranging commercial experience, language skills and their background in working effectively with foreign clients.
Linguistic ability is of prime importance in communicating with international debtors, and our offices are able to communicate in English, Greek, French, German, Turkish and Arabic.
In addition to our initial contact by phone and mail, our bilingual representatives make scheduled visits to several areas of the Middle East in order to exert extra pressure, and also to provide a better insight of the financial status of the company.
We have also built up a network of international lawyers in the Middle East who can proceed with legal action when an amicable solution proves impossible, who offer an efficient and professional service. It should be noted, however, that litigation is expensive in many areas of the Middle East, due to high court and lawyers fees, and is only proposed after all efforts for an amicable solution have failed, and is the final option available to our clients.
EASTERN EUROPE
Our office has developed several business interests in Romania and other areas of Eastern Europe, and it is for this reason that it was decided to open a local office to provide a more efficient service to our international and local clients.
This new development has also increased our ability for effective collections in Eastern Europe, and allows us to monitor closely the economic trends and development of this region.
